The Nude Bowl is a legendary, abandoned kidney-shaped swimming pool located in the California desert near Desert Hot Springs, famed as a premier DIY skateboarding spot. Formerly part of the 1960s-70s Desert Gardens Ranch nudist resort, it was adopted by skateboarders in the 1980s and is frequently restored by them after being filled in by authorities.
